Our accompaniment services are designed to support clients who may require someone to stay with them to provide assistance or companionship during appointments. We will stay with you as needed throughout the appointment process.
Need transportation because you’re unable to drive after your treatment? We have you covered! Need assistance to get out of/into your house? We can do that! Need to borrow a wheelchair to use during your appointment? We offer that service too! With a variety of transportation services available including stretcher, wheelchair, bariatric, and ambulatory transportation we are able to meet a wide range of our clients needs.
Operating out of the Belleville, Quinte, Kingston, Peterborough and Ottawa region, our services are available throughout Eastern and Central Ontario. We also offer long distance transportation options for out of region appointments (Toronto, Montreal, or further).
Our team includes a diverse group of qualified healthcare professionals such as PSW, DSW, and nurses to meet each patients’ unique needs. Using modern equipment, all staff are fully trained in proper patient-support protocols, including lifting, positioning, and securing patients. We are a Registered Transportation Provider for the Veteran’s Independence Program
The Veterans Independence Program provides annual tax-free funding for services a variety of services including transportation to healthcare services and appointments and social events or community activities. As a registered provider we can assist approved program members with their transportation needs. We work directly with Veterans Affairs and Medavie Blue Cross to help make your experience hassle free.
